Many years ago Frank attended a corporate dinner where a magician performed at his table. Having been utterly amazed he was hooked, and set out to learn as much as he could. He had his pudding first though.
We think it was Tiramisu…
Frank has been a full-time professional entertainer since 2006 and has performed magic throughout the UK for a huge spectrum of clients; from private individuals at intimate functions to blue-chip companies at large events. Along the way Frank has become an award winning cabaret performer, worked with great household names such as Paul Daniels and Paul Zenon, and performed close up magic on TV.
“The sign of a class act is when the audience can’t stop talking about it afterwards and I can tell you that is exactly what happened last night.”Cardiff St. Davids Rotary Club
The Act
Frank’s close-up magic performances feature many tricks that have been seen on TV; they include the use of playing cards, finger rings, elastic bands, a small cup and quite a lot of fruit… His light-hearted engaging style quickly puts his audience at ease (right before they can’t quite believe what they’ve just seen).
Frank is able to offer a wide variety of close-up walkabout magic options for all types of event, as well as parlour, cabaret and stage shows that always involve the audience and a pile of laughs.
Double-act and multi-magician offerings are also available for larger events.
Typical Booking
Every booking is different! Frank will work with you to provide the very best entertainment package to suit your event and maximise the enjoyment of your guests.
As a general guide, bookings are often made for a two hour period which will normally be sufficient to provide entertainment during a three or four course meal (wedding, business event, private party, etc.) or in a mix and mingle environment (e.g. for an evening function). A shorter booking may apply to a requirement for entertainment during a drinks reception perhaps, or a combination of all these settings can be easily catered for. For example, Frank is often booked to perform a session of close up magic (pre-dinner receptions or during dinner) followed by a cabaret show later. Frank’s introduction to ‘the room’ early on is a great atmosphere builder and makes his later show even more engaging.
