The Railway Express

Fanshaw's Fantastical Emporium of the ImpossibleWhat a month this November has been. Our acts have been out and about all over the place including Kingston-upon-Thames for the big Christmas lights switch-on where Archie & Bert (Fanshaw’s Fantastical Emporium of the Impossible) were given their own stage, lighting and PA (and security!) for an evening of crowd pulling entertainment.

Our latest offering – The Postal Express – has also been on the road but with bespoke adjustments for a rather large client at a rather fabulous venue in Windsor. Re-named The Railway Express (see main picture) Stationmaster’s Stamp & Punch were on hand to whistle and flag-wave all four hundred and forty guests along the ‘platform’ in to the ‘waiting room’ and then in to dinner. They then performed chuffing good close up magic around the tables in full character. All aboard! All the way down the carriage please.

So as November comes to a close, we’re sending Archie & Bert out again today (Nov 27th) to assist in the Victorian-esque event that is the Barry High Street Christmas Lights Switch-On; a last minute booking that we were very pleased to be able to slot in for our local trader friends. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood from 4-ish to 6-ish, come and say hello!
